It was great to see the WTP re-open late November, and little time was lost in making a visit. First up, brolgas are always a great treat, and I was lucky to see a pair quietly wading, then flying off in unison. There were whiskered terns in great abundance, as well as many other delectable waterbirds. It was only when I got home and developed the photos that I realised that I flaked this shot: stilts, a tern, and lapwings - along with their reflections - in one shot! Raptors! Then a black kite...possibly two different birds here - I can't quite decide! Anyway, more visits to come, but it's always a treat to visit the WTP.
