The Kyabram Fauna Park is delightful with lots of open space and free ranging animals, and some great walk in aviaries large enough to have the birds flying freely. There is also an extensive wetland area with a viewing tower.  Biggles? No, a banded lapwing. Kyabram is a lovely town - the main drag, not far from the Park, was clean and bustling with activity in a good variety of shops when we went there for lunch. Worth a pit stop, at least. And we would make a return visit to the Fauna Park.
