Whoever would have thought a sewage plant would become a favourite go to place? Or that we would see delectable brolgas -- usually seen in the tropics -- close to home in Melbourne? We've been thrilled with some of our captures recently at the Western Treatment Plant near Werribee. There seem to be three couples of brolgas living at the WTP, and one couple has a baby. One of the most thrilling sights is to see a brolga take off... The brolgas are usually to be found talking a walk along the paths... or foraging in the shallow lagoons...
