ROSALIEBibliophile Jackie Morris conjures wildlife and nature from the pages of The Lost Words, and her co-author Robert Macfarlane ignites the words with his acrostic poems. Both authors are advocates for children and nature. I was blessed to find out about this beautiful book at an exhibition of the original paintings at the Royal Botanic Gardens in Edinburgh in 2018.

rosalieHow I came up with the design for this artwork "It’s Mine!" is a large work (A2 size) which I came up with after taking photos through the window on a rainy day ... in the garden, I spied of a group of currawongs visiting the neighbour’s magnolia tree with its maroon pods bursting with orange seeds the size of Smarties.
